Anwar is a Senior Investment Advisor, Wealth Advisor in Toronto who is also an award-winning Finance Professor at several of the top business schools in Canada. He has been a Professor of Finance at the University of Toronto, Queen’s University and McMaster University. Anwar was awarded an "Excellence in Teaching Award" at the University of Toronto (Rotman School of Management) and the "Professor of the Year Award" at the DeGroote School of Business by the students at McMaster University. Anwar is also a published author in several peer-reviewed academic journals in the areas of finance and economics.
He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Distinction) from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Finance from The Ivey School of Business along with being designated as a CPA. Anwar has also held several executive positions at some of Canada’s largest public companies. Including serving as the Chief Financial Officer of a software company based in Toronto.
