How do I register to receive my login information if I am a print member?
As a print member you can register by clicking on REGISTER on the home page.
This will take you to a form where you will be asked to input your Membership ID
number and your last name or company name. You'll find your membership ID number
on your mailing label--first number on the left side just above your name.
Do you have any tips on entering my data on your order form?
Please do not use any spaces or special characters in your telephone number or
credit card.
Can I order and use something other than my credit card?
Yes, you can submit your order, print a copy of it and either fax or mail your
order to Canadian MoneySaver. Of course this will take longer to have your request processed.
When payment is received, we will notify you by e-mail. You can also check on
your account status by clicking on MY ACCOUNT.
Where do I find your membership rates?
You can find our membership rates on the order form or on the "About
Us" page.
What membership options do Canadian MoneySaver offer? Canadian MoneySaver offers a print, online and a combination, print
and online, membership for a one-year term. You may view full details at You Have
Choices
I tried to register as a new member and I'm asked for a username and password.
Why? When registering as a new member, you are required to create your username
and password so you can log in to
CanadianMoneySaver.ca.
Print-only members will have to login to access features like Member Benefits,
Ask the Experts, Recommended Sites, Money Charts, DRIPs with SPPs and Members'
Message Board. Online-only members have to login to access the entire
members-only sections of
CanadianMoneySaver.ca,
including the current/past editions and article archives.
Your system will
not allow me to enter my full credit card expiry date. Why? When entering your credit card information, you only enter the last two
digits of the year (i.e., 2007 would be entered as 07) in the first entry box
and the two digits for the month (i.e., March would be entered as 03) in the
second entry box.

I was a former member. How do I renew if it indicates that I am still on
your database? If you are a former member and would like to renew, you need to contact our
office at 613-352-7448 and we will process the order for you or provide the
information required for you to proceed. This prevents duplications in our
database.
If I place a membership order online, how do I know that you've received
it? You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Canadian MoneySaver once
your order has been received. (If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail,
please contact our office at 613-352-7448.)
How can I check my membership expiry date? Your membership expiry date is located on your mailing label above your name
and to the right of your membership number. You can also log on to CanadianMoneySaver.ca
and go to "My Account", click on "Membership Status" and your membership type
and expiry date are listed. The membership status page displays past, present
and future memberships.
How can I find my membership number? Your membership number is located on your mailing label directly above your
name. You can also log on to
CanadianMoneySaver.ca
and go to "My Account", click on "Membership Status", where your membership
number is listed.
How can I change my address? To change your address, log in with your username and password, then go to
"My Account" which is located below the Canadian flag at the top of the screen.
Click on "Profile Update" to enter the new information and then click submit.
Note: your telephone number must be entered in the following format (999)
999-9999.
Why do I no longer see a two-year membership? We no longer offer two-year memberships due to possible postal increases in
the near future. Please see Dale's "Sharing with You" in the July/August 2007
issue for further details.
If I have a membership question, how do I contact you? You can either call Canadian MoneySaver at (613) 352-7448 (9am-4:30
pm ET), fax us at (613) 352-7700 or e-mail,
moneyinfo@canadianmoneysaver.ca, 24/7.
If I want to start with a specific issue where do I indicate this on the
online order form? If you want to start with a specific issue, please let us know in the
comments section of the registration form. Note: we can only backdate as far as
the current (free) edition posted on our website.
If I want to receive back issues, where do I indicate this on the order
form? If you would like to order any of our back issues, please indicate which
ones you would like to receive in the comments section of the registration form.
Back issues are priced at $2.35/edition - see page 43 in MoneySaver.
I'm a print member and I would like to search for a specific article. How
do I do this? If you are a print member and would like to search for a specific article,
please use the Article Archives. You can search by author,
article name, category or keyword after you login.
I'm a print member and would like to view a specific article. I am being
told I do not have access to this article. Why? To view a specific article online, you need to be an online member. If you
are a print-only member, you can only read an excerpt from the article.
What is an online upgrade? The online upgrade can only be used in combination with a current print
membership. We charge $1.76 (tax included) times the number of print editions
remaining in your current print membership. An online upgrade gives you full
access to all the members-only sections of
CanadianMoneySaver.ca
and keeps your magazine delivered by mail. Once the online upgrade is added,
both the print and online service will have the same expiry date.
Please note that we do not currently have a "print upgrade". Please contact
Canadian MoneySaver to arrange this option.
I would like to order a new membership but cannot decide whether I should
order a print or an online membership. What do you recommend? Trying to decide which to choose, print or online, depends on your
preferences. If you are used to using the Internet, have a high-speed
connection, don't mind reading on the screen and you are interested in viewing
past articles, then the online version would be right for you. If you prefer to
read from a magazine and don't require the research features of our website,
then the print membership is for you. Of course, you can have both services with
a 25% reduction in price for the second service.
I would like to give a gift to a friend but I am not a member. How do I do
this? Order a new membership. Indicate it's a gift in the comment field, along
with your telephone number and any special instructions. In the payment field,
your name and credit card information is recorded.
