Peter Merrick, BA, FMA, CFP, FCSI

Peter is the President of Merrick Wealth Management Inc. Since the early 1990s, Peter has had an active career in the financial planning, investment, risk management, estate planning and executive benefit and pension fields. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) registered with the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as well as a Financial Management Advisor (FMA). In the year 2000, Peter was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). It is recognized as Canada's highest honor in the financial services industry.

Peter enjoys being a professor of financial planning and employee group benefits at Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology and George Brown College in Toronto. As well, he is a professional public speaker who has achieved the Distinguished Toastmaster's (DTM) designation, the highest level from Toastmasters International in the areas of public speaking and leadership.
