Margot Bai

Margot graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1996.  She worked for Young Drivers of Canada as a driving instructor and classroom teacher for 5 years before moving into the insurance industry in 2001.  Margot is licensed to sell home, auto and life insurance, including disability and critical illness.

Margot is the author of, Spend Smarter, Save Bigger: Finding Big Savings in your Home, Mortgage, Vehicles, Insurance and Investments, White Knight Books, 2006.  Her focus is helping Canadians find big savings on life’s biggest expenses.  She believes that saving money ultimately boils down to two things. First, create an affordable lifestyle that allows you to live comfortably while saving a significant part of your income.  Second, boost your savings by making smarter financial choices on your big expenses.  Her book helps Canadians better understand their options and see through the sales pitch to make the choice that will keep more money for their future.
