Jeff Buckstein

Jeff Buckstein is an Ottawa based freelance writer who has published articles on a variety of topics, including personal finance, taxation, high tech, banking and education issues, in several newspapers and magazines. Prior to becoming a full-time writer in 1995, he worked for ten years as a professional accountant, primarily in the financial services sector, after beginning his career at the Bank of Canada in 1978.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Toronto in 1978 and a Certified General Accountants (CGA) designation in 1986.
